About WhereToHit.com

We drove 45 minutes to a batting cage that was closed.

The website said it was open. The Google listing said "Open until 9 PM." We called ahead — no answer. We assumed they were busy. We drove anyway because we're optimists and also stupid.

We got there at 6:45 PM. Dark. Locked. No note on the door. No "sorry we closed early" sign. Just... nothing.

We stood in the parking lot like idiots checking our phones to make sure we hadn't hallucinated the address. We refreshed the website. Still said open. We called again. Still no answer.

We drove home. The kid was in the back seat. The bat was still in its bag. We wasted 90 minutes and a tank of gas on a Google listing that hadn't been touched since 2021.

We built WhereToHit so this stops happening. Not to you. Not to the family that just Googled "batting cages near me" at 5:30 PM on a Thursday. Not to the travel team looking for cage time the night before bracket play starts.

We check. We verify. We show you what's real before you waste your evening on what Google thinks is real.

You're welcome.

How Our Data Works

Venue data is sourced from Google Places and regularly updated. Each listing includes address, phone, website, hours, Google rating, and indoor/outdoor classification where available. We manually scrape pricing from venue websites so you know what it costs before you show up. If the hours are wrong, it's because the facility hasn't claimed their listing yet.

Facility owners can claim their listing to update information, correct hours, and eventually post clinics and camps. Claiming is free and takes about 2 minutes.

For Facility Owners

Your facility is probably already listed here. Whether the info is correct — that's on you. Claim it free, fix whatever's wrong, and stop losing customers to a Google listing nobody has touched since the last election. In the future, claimed listings will be able to post clinics, camps, and tryouts — more reach, zero cost.

Part of the Mind & Muscle Ecosystem

WhereToHit.com is built and maintained by the team behind Mind & Muscle — a mental performance app designed for baseball and softball players. We built WhereToHit because finding the right facility is step one. What you do once you get there is step two.
